Serve these quick Tuna Wraps either as a snack or light lunch with a side salad! They are super easy to make and a great way to use leftover wraps. So simple, yet so tasty! I think toasted is the way to go, but they are nice cold as well.
Tuna Wraps
🍴 Servings: 2
🕒 Hands-on: ~ 10 minutes
🎛 Cooking time: 4 – 6 minutes

INGREDIENTS
- 145g canned tuna (in brine)
- small handful of frozen sweetcorn
- ½ small apple, small dice
- ¼ red onion, small dice
- 5 tbsp mayonnaise
- ¼ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- 2 wheat tortilla wraps
STEPS
1 Put the sweetcorn into a bowl (no need to defrost). Then strain the tuna and combine with the corn. Add mayonnaise, chopped apple and red onion. Season with salt and pepper.
2 Lay the wraps on a table and put the filling in the middle, dividing evenly between two wraps. Flatten the filling with a back of a spoon and fold all sides in, shorter sides first.
3 Place the wraps on a dry, hot frying pan seam side down. Cook on a medium heat for 4-6 minutes, flipping half way through.
4 Cut the warm tuna wraps in half and serve as they are or with a side salad!

Notes:
- Extra spice — Mix a teaspoon of hot pepper sauce with the filling to give the wraps a small kick. Alternatively, sprinkle some chilli flakes on top of the filling before folding the wrap
- Wraps — You can use any size wraps, I prefer the wrap-filling ratio on a larger wrap
- Measuring— If you liked to measure ingredients, you’ll need about 25g each red onion, apple and sweetcorn
Main equipment:
Medium frying pan
Small bowl
Chopping board + knife
